Portland New Years 2013 Anejo / Extra Anejo Tasting

December 20, 2012, by , Posted in Events, 2 Comments
Barrel BurnSunday, January 13, 2012 3pm-6pm at Cha Taqueria (305 NW 21st Ave.)
Due to popular demand, we are reprising December’s theme of añejo’s and extra-añejos, but we will feature six different  spirits this time around. So whether you were there or  missed out, join us!
We will taste SIX premium, 100% agave tequilas (all anejos or extra-anejos), including new to market and hard to find products. There will be a great diversity of barrel types, aging techniques and flavor profiles to explore and discuss. ET founder Clayton Szczech will lead the tasting and facilitate a discussion of the differences between American and French oak, used versus new barrels, using whiskey, wine or brandy barrels, and the various toasts, chars and treatments applied to barrels.
These tequilas have an average cost of $25/glass at bars. The $50 fee includes all six, light snacks, gratuity and a professional tasting presentation by Clayton Szczech. As a special holiday bonus – save 20% when two people RSVP together. That’s $80 for two people, but you must RSVP and pay below for 2 people. This tasting will sell out, so register now! Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Is there still availability and if we can not be there until 4pm is that a problem?
    Thank you

Hi Lisa, thanks for your question. We still have limited seating available, but won’t be able to seat folks once the event has started. Saludos!
